How often does someone ask you to make a quilt out of contrasting colours and cow print? Not often enough if you ask me!
I have to admit I had my doubts when I was approached to make a quilt in exactly that…and then I looked again at the finished article and I have to say, I know I made it, but how fab does that look?!
The only way I can think to describe it is “boom boom pow!” It’s bright, it’s punchy and as I understand it, entirely suited to the couple and newborn that it will be gifted to.
The reason behind the cow print and the personalised embroidery on the bottom right corner is a childhood nickname between two sisters who are now set to have their own babies just one month apart.
