Today I completed a personalised bag commission for my lovely friend Georgina whom I met when we both made it to the top ten of Curvy Kate’s ‘Star in a Bra’ competition. Since the competition, Georgina has gone from strength to strength through her very popular blog ‘Fuller Figure Fuller Bust‘. She has had numerous opportunities to model, endorsements from wonderful companies and even got to meet Gok Wan! Which, as it happens she is doing again on Tuesday and will be taking this bag along with her, made especially for her…
I created a figure for one side and designed it’s own personal lingerie set, pulling out fabric highlights for the lettering on both sides so everything tied in together nicely. The lips on the figure are what stand out most. Georgina has a gorgeous pout and I thought the bag should have a nod to the girl herself.
It’s fully lined so no evidence of the applique can be seen inside and the straps are nice and wide to make it more comfortable on the shoulders.
