I know I know, the English always moan about the bloody weather, and I’m no exception. I have to say, I like a bit of rain now and again, it gives me the opportunity to cosy up inside with a few unfinished craft projects or a good book, bake a cake, re organise my shoes (ahem) …all of which are things I rarely want to do when the sun is shinning. But after DAYS of it, days and days and days and DAYS of it, when it’s no longer a novelty to stay inside and instead you feel holed up like a prisoner to it… Well then, quite frankly, I’m sick of it. And I’m more than a little bit pissed off it’s the reason for today’s post/rant. I have so many creative ideas currently planned but all of them involve outdoor photography and I cannot do them until the rain decides to go elsewhere. I also have a number of quilts I’d like to photograph in natural light and share with you but I haven’t been able to do that either. So instead, I’m going to share with you one of the only pictures I’ve been able to take over the past few days and the view I’ve been glumly staring at from behind my sewing machine.
Enough is enough…pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease let the sun come out to play soon! x
