Every year at this time, a little fair with two fast rides, some bumper cars, a few things for kids and a lot of candy floss crams itself in to the market place in my little town. I used to go a lot when I was a kid followed by years of nonattendance and now that my brother has two kids, six adults normally pile down there to smile and wave as they go round and round in circles. Not at all weird.
It looks strange tucked away in the old market town I live in but I actually find it quite an interesting juxtaposition I can live with for one week out of the year. I took the opportunity of going to see the kids to snap some pictures on my phone and they came out surprisingly well after a little editing. Most of which though don’t actually include any kids…just the fair!
I especially love this one that catches my nephew looking up at the ‘little’ big wheel.
Nothing quite like the bright lights of the fair when you’re under five is there?!
